Rio de Janeiro, July 6 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi has landed in Brazil for a four-day visit, where he is set to engage in the 17th BRICS Summit and carry out a state visit.
Upon his arrival at Galeao International Airport on Saturday evening (local time), PM Modi received a ceremonial welcome. This visit was initiated at the invitation of Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
This marks the fourth stop on his five-nation journey.
In a post on the social media platform X, PM Modi shared: "Just landed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I will participate in the BRICS Summit and subsequently head to Brasília for a state visit upon the invitation of President Lula. Looking forward to fruitful discussions and interactions during my time here."
