New Delhi, June 11 (NationPress) BJP MP Gulam Ali Khatana remarked on Wednesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi recognized the contributions and efforts of all Members of Parliament (MPs) from the All-party delegation during their meeting with him at his official residence on Tuesday. The meeting was to discuss their achievements and experiences related to India’s diplomatic outreach mission following Operation Sindoor.

Khatana, in an interview with IANS, stated that the all-party delegation effectively conveyed India’s stance, leading to a greater global understanding that while India seeks amicable relations with its neighbors, it maintains a stance of zero tolerance towards terrorism.

Commenting on the meeting, he noted, "PM Modi was very satisfied with our discussions and commended the efforts of all MPs."

The BJP MP also criticized the Opposition's response to the government's diplomatic strategies against Pakistan, labeling their criticisms as a sign of frustration.

He added, "The Opposition is grappling with two main frustrations: the public has rejected them, and they achieved nothing during their tenure. Over the past 11 years, Prime Minister Modi has steered the country towards remarkable achievements, and their discontent is evident."

When questioned about the possibility of a special parliamentary session or debate on Operation Sindoor, Khatana remarked, "That decision lies with the government, but the Opposition is merely expressing their frustration. They issue numerous statements yet have played no constructive role on the international stage."

Previously, Prime Minister Modi praised the lawmakers for representing India with dignity and purpose, effectively communicating India's message against terrorism. "We take pride in how they articulated India’s voice," he said, according to an official statement.

Khatana also condemned Pakistan’s stance, stating, "They attempt to engage in discussions about water-sharing under the Indus Waters Treaty while simultaneously promoting terrorism. They must recognize that the power dynamics have shifted, and India will no longer tolerate such behavior."

Point of View

It is crucial to acknowledge the ongoing efforts by the government to foster diplomatic relations while maintaining a firm stance on national security. The recent meeting reflects a unified approach to addressing both domestic and international challenges.
