New Delhi, July 21 (NationPress) In the midst of a government-Opposition clash on the inaugural day of the Monsoon session, the central government is reported to have consented to a discussion regarding the Pahalgam terror incident and Operation Sindoor.
Sources indicate that both Houses of Parliament will engage in a lengthy debate on these contentious topics next week, with Lok Sabha dedicating 16 hours and Rajya Sabha allocating 9 hours for this purpose.
The Opposition has been demanding a debate at the commencement of the Monsoon session, particularly in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The agreement for the upcoming week appears to have been made as PM Modi is scheduled to embark on a two-nation visit on July 23 and will return only by the weekend.
