Ahmedabad, Feb 12 (NationPress) In an effort to cultivate a workforce that is ready for industry, the Adani Group has teamed up with ITE Education Services (ITEES) from Singapore to create a proficient talent pipeline that caters to various sectors, such as green energy, manufacturing, hi-tech, project excellence, and industrial design.
To achieve this aim, the Adani family will contribute over Rs 2,000 crore to set up internationally recognized schools of excellence.
This initiative forms part of the Rs 10,000 crore social contribution recently revealed by the Adani Group. Just the day before, the firm announced an investment of Rs 6,000 crore for the establishment of Adani Health Cities (AHCs) in collaboration with the US-based Mayo Clinic.
Gautam Adani, the Chairman of the Adani Group, shared via social media platform X that the company is launching the largest and most advanced finishing school in Mundra, Gujarat.
“I’m thrilled to announce one of the largest Skill and Employ initiatives in India! In collaboration with Singapore's ITEES, the global frontrunner in technical training, the Adani Group is establishing the world’s largest finishing school in Mundra,” stated the Adani Group Chairman.
This cutting-edge facility will integrate AI-driven immersive learning with innovative centers, aiming to train over 25,000 learners annually to boost the 'Make in India' movement,” noted the billionaire.
The candidates will consist of fresh graduates and diploma holders possessing vocational and technical qualifications from ITIs or Polytechnics, chosen for an intensive boot camp experience within the schools.
Each of these finishing schools, named Adani Global Skills Academy, will select students from technical and vocational education backgrounds in India that align with their industry and career aspirations.
Upon certification in their chosen fields, these students will be offered employment within the Adani Group and the broader industry, based on their roles and training.
This initiative will guarantee that trained professionals are industry-ready from day one and meet global standards of excellence, according to the company.
