New Delhi, Nov 16 (NationPress) The 8th iteration of the biennial joint bilateral Exercise Ajeya Warrior, involving the Indian Army and British Army, is set to take place from November 17 to 30 at the Mahajan Field Firing Ranges in Rajasthan, as confirmed by an official statement issued on Sunday.
The exercise is designed to enhance operational synergy for joint Counter-Terrorism operations in a semi-urban setting, aligning with Chapter VII of the UN mandate, according to the Additional Directorate General of Public Information from the IHQ of the Ministry of Defence (Army).
This 14-day collaborative exercise symbolizes the enduring commitment of both India and the United Kingdom to global peace and security, while fostering deeper defense collaboration, camaraderie, and mutual trust between their respective armed forces, as noted by the Ministry of Defence.
Previously, the MoD provided information regarding Exercise Poorvi Prachand Prahar, conducted by the Eastern Command of the Indian Army.
The focus of that exercise was to validate new capabilities in conjunction with the IAF, Indian Navy, ITBP, and various agencies, executed as a unified force.

Earlier, the Southern Command of the Indian Army announced on X that “Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the #SouthernCommand, reviewed the culminating phase of Exercise Trishul at Madhavpur Beach, observing Amphibious Landing Operations integrated with land, air, and maritime components.”
“Exercise Trishul, showcasing large-scale multi-domain maneuvers across the Western Seaboard, the Desert Sector, and the Rann & Creek Sector, exhibited remarkable Tri-Services Synergy and mission-focused integration,” it stated.
