“The Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar, Vinod Singh Gunjyal, along with Principal Secretary of the Election Commission of India, Arvind Anand, submitted the list of elected officials and the notification issued by the Election Commission to the Governor of Bihar, Arif Mohammad Khan, following the Bihar Legislative Assembly General Election-2025,” the CEO of Bihar stated on its X handle.

The list contained names of all candidates, including 202 from NDA, 34 from Mahagathbandhan, as well as representatives from AIMIM, Indian Inclusive Party, and Bahujan Samaj Party.

Throughout the campaign, I urged the people of Bihar to achieve record voter turnout, and they have surpassed all expectations. I called for a significant win for the NDA, and the people of Bihar answered that call,” he stated.

In a critique of the MY (Muslim-Yadav) coalition promoted by the Rashtriya Janata Party (RJD), he noted that the youth of Bihar have adopted a new MY formula that aligns with their aspirations.
