Bengaluru, Nov 14 (NationPress) In light of the decisive victory achieved by the NDA in the Bihar elections, Karnataka BJP President and MLA B.Y. Vijayendra expressed on Friday that the electorate of Bihar has imparted a significant lesson to the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, and the Congress regarding their 'vote chori' narrative.
BJP leader Vijayendra remarked, "The remarkable triumph in the Bihar Assembly elections stands as a testament to democratic excellence that mirrors the robust leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The people of Bihar have conveyed their belief that the NDA administration under the Prime Minister is crucial for the nation."
He added, "The extraordinary results of the Bihar elections showcase the collaborative efforts of the NDA alliance, under the strategic guidance of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the effective governance of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, which have garnered appreciation from the constituents of Bihar, resulting in an unexpectedly historic mandate for the NDA."
"In this election, the citizens of Bihar have taught a crucial lesson to the Congress, spearheaded by Rahul Gandhi, which attempted to engage in deceit by disseminating falsehoods regarding vote manipulation. The Congress is now at a juncture where its political survival on Bihar's landscape is in jeopardy. The electorate has decisively indicated that they will no longer accept feudal-style politics from the Grand Alliance, including the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)," he continued.
"The people of Bihar have demonstrated that in a democratic setup, there is no place for false propaganda, and that appeasement and minority vote-bank politics have a bleak future," added Vijayendra.
"The outcome of the Bihar elections serves as a cautionary message to the Congress and other opposition parties nationwide. The voters have issued a warning: if the opposition fails to act responsibly, they risk losing even their status as an opposition party," he stated.
"In every election Rahul Gandhi has contested, the Congress has faced a series of defeats. Now, enveloped in losses, the Congress is floundering; states like Karnataka and Telangana have become substantial challenges for them. Yet, rather than focusing on developmental initiatives, the Congress-led government in Karnataka remains preoccupied with making reckless remarks about nationalist entities," he criticized.
"It’s high time that Congress leaders in Karnataka learn from the Bihar election results. They should dedicate their remaining tenure to the welfare of the public and make amends to the voters," he concluded.
Former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa took to X, stating, "The results from Bihar provide the NDA with a clear and confident mandate. Your trust fortifies our commitment towards development. Congratulations to PM Narendra Modi for his unwavering leadership and guidance."
