Darbhanga comprises nine Assembly constituencies, all of which have been secured by the BJP and JDU. Other NDA partners, including LJPRV, HAM, and RLM, chose not to participate in this region.
Alinagar: The Alinagar constituency emerged as a significant battleground in Darbhanga, where Bhojpuri folk singer Maithili Thakur represented the BJP. She triumphed over RJD's Binod Mishra by a margin of 11,730 votes.
Bahadurpur: JDU's Madan Sahani, a former cabinet minister in Nitish Kumar's administration, successfully defeated RJD's Bhola Yadav, a close associate of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, with a winning margin of 12,011 votes.
