New Delhi, April 6 (NationPress) In response to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's upcoming trip to Bihar, BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal vehemently criticized the Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha, asserting that he has effectively drained the entire Congress ship and predicted that the same fate awaits in Bihar.

“Rahul Gandhi has submerged the entire Congress ship. Bihar will also face the same outcome. Wherever he appears, Congress collapses. Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Delhi exemplify this trend. I appreciate Rahul Gandhi for sinking the Congress ship and squandering his youth towards this end. He has morphed into a 55-year-old youth now. He will also sink Congress in Bihar,” Jaiswal told IANS.

In the election-focused Bihar, Rahul Gandhi is set to visit for the third time this year on April 7 to participate in a seminar themed ‘Safeguarding the Constitution’ in Patna.

Dilip Jaiswal also commented on the recent enactment of the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, which received approval from both Houses of Parliament.

The Bill, aimed at reforming Waqf properties and resolving management issues, was passed after thorough consultations, discussions, and debates.

“The Waqf Bill Amendment Act, which was endorsed by both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the NDA coalition, was introduced through a highly democratic process,” Jaiswal stated.

He mentioned that the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) had gathered feedback from millions prior to the bill's debate and approval.

He emphasized that the parliamentary discussions were comprehensive, with contributions from various political factions, including JDU, LJP, and other allied partners, who provided valuable insights.

He further asserted that these recommendations were integrated to benefit Muslim communities and enhance the management of Waqf properties.

“We are optimistic that this legislation will foster a brighter future for the Waqf board, and we express our gratitude to the President for endorsing this significant legislation,” he concluded.
