Chandigarh, Nov 21 (NationPress) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) criticized AAP national Convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Friday for his party's inability to fulfill a significant commitment made to women prior to the 2022 assembly elections, which was to provide financial assistance of Rs 1,000 per month.
State BJP working President Ashwani Sharma expressed his concerns through a social media post, highlighting that the assurance given on November 22, 2021, by Aam Aadmi Party convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal during a rally in Moga, aimed at providing Rs 1,000 monthly to the women of Punjab, is nearing its four-year mark.
“Despite this promise, not a single installment has reached the women of Punjab to date,” he stated.

Hundreds of women, party activists, and office-bearers from across the state are expected to march toward Kejriwal’s Chandigarh ‘Sheesh Mahal’ from the BJP office in Sector 37 at 11 a.m.
Kaur questioned why not even a single rupee has been credited into the accounts of women in the past 45 months by Punjab’s so-called ‘Super CM’ Kejriwal. She emphasized that women will demand accountability and seek answers regarding the unfulfilled promise of Rs 1,000 per month. This protest march signifies not just a symbolic gesture, but the commencement of a larger campaign against Kejriwal’s “false guarantees.”
