New Delhi, May 24 (NationPress) Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar urged the officials of the poll panel to adopt a non-adversarial approach while he engaged in discussions with the legal team to better equip them for the new challenges ahead, according to an official statement released on Saturday.
The extensive conference served as a crucial platform for discussion and knowledge sharing between the Commission and distinguished legal experts from across the nation, the official added.
Election Commissioners Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr. Vivek Joshi were also present at the opening of the National Conference of Counsels, which represented the Election Commission of India in Delhi.
Numerous senior advocates from the Supreme Court and 28 High Courts, alongside officials and 36 Chief Electoral Officers (CEOs) from all States and Union Territories, participated in this significant event.
“This initiative is geared towards enhancing and reorienting the Commission's legal framework to address new challenges more effectively, fostering synergy.
