This effort aims to prevent a significant decline in food grain production in the region due to this natural disaster.

While addressing an event in the state capital, he emphasized, “During this challenging time, we stand united with the farmers of Punjab. To demonstrate our commitment, the Uttar Pradesh government, via the Agriculture Department and the Uttar Pradesh Seed Development Corporation, is sending 2,500 bags corresponding to 1,000 quintals of wheat seeds to Punjab.”

He noted that the recent heavy rains in Punjab have severely impacted daily life. “The floods have also destroyed stored seeds. This could jeopardize agriculture and the livelihoods of dedicated farmers,” he stated, expressing solidarity with the affected farmers.

“In today’s digital age, while technology has simplified our lives, we also face challenges such as cybercrime. The police have undertaken significant measures to combat this issue,” stated CM Adityanath.

Reinforcing the BJP-led government’s dedication to safeguarding citizens from fraudulent activities, he announced, “The 1930 helpline center for cybercrime has been enhanced to manage 1.60 lakh calls each month and is equipped with advanced analytics.”

The Chief Minister also revealed plans for a cyber fraud mitigation center to bolster efforts against con artists.

He reported that the amount related to cybercrime frozen or recovered in the banking sector increased from Rs 26.70 crore in July 2025 to Rs 39.40 crore in September 2025.

“Cybercrime teams at police stations have successfully saved the public Rs 10 crore between June 1 and August 15, 2025,” he added.

He also highlighted the government’s initiatives in collaboration with private entities to identify social media posts related to suicide attempts and to save lives.

“Thanks to the proactive measures of the UP government, 1,460 lives have been saved with the assistance of private companies from January 1, 2023, to October 10, 2025, by responding to social media suicide-related posts,” said CM Adityanath.
