EAM Jaishankar also acknowledged Guterres' insights on pressing regional matters, expressing a desire to host him in India.

“It was a pleasure to meet UNSG Antonio Guterres in New York today. I valued his evaluation of the current global landscape and its effects on multilateralism. His views on various regional challenges were also appreciated. I extend my gratitude for his clear and consistent backing of India's growth and development. I am looking forward to welcoming him in India,” EAM Jaishankar shared on X on Friday.
