Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP): A Significant Initiative for Rajasthan's Residents, As Stated by BJP's Ankit Chechi

Jaipur, December 17 (NationPress) On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an official visit to Rajasthan. This visit culminated in a significant agreement related to the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP). BJP leaders and activists expressed their support for this government initiative during dialogues with IANS.
Ankit Chechi, the state president of the BJP's Youth Wing in Rajasthan, remarked, "This has been a crucial concern for Rajasthan. Both the central and state governments have tirelessly worked to address this issue. Now, through the ERCP, the state aims to supply water to every corner of Rajasthan. This matter is pivotal and will greatly benefit the state's populace."
BJP supporter Deepak Karwasara conveyed to IANS, "This represents a historic milestone for the residents of Rajasthan, as an agreement concerning water resources has been established between Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Under Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma's leadership, the Prime Minister visited to commemorate the project's completion, also inaugurating and laying the foundation for numerous projects worth thousands of crores, including major initiatives like the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Link Project."
In a critique of Congress, he stated, "Congress leaders merely made empty promises. For over two decades, they hindered this project and imposed multiple barriers."
BJP supporter Krishna Mandloi commented, "The initiatives undertaken by PM Modi for women's empowerment deserve recognition. His diligent efforts are now yielding results, as evidenced by the large turnout of women at the gathering. Citizens are reaping the benefits from the government's various programs."
It is important to highlight that PM Modi's visit to Jaipur on Tuesday involved the announcement of several projects worth crores for the state. Among these, the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) stands out, aiming to deliver drinking water, irrigation, and industrial water to 21 districts in Rajasthan and 11 districts in Madhya Pradesh. A landmark agreement was made concerning this initiative.
