Hyderabad, Jan 1 (NationPress) The Indian Army will be conducting the 'Know Your Army Mela 2025' at the historic Golconda Fort from January 3 to 5.

This event is organized under the auspices of the Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA) headquarters and is coordinated by the Artillery Centre, Hyderabad. It serves as a precursor to the Army Day Parade 2025.

Offering a rare opportunity for all citizens, this event allows attendees to engage with the Indian Army, observe its technological advancements, and understand its operational capabilities. The mela aims to inspire young individuals to consider a career in the Armed Forces while promoting a positive image of the Indian Army, according to a Defence release.

The choice of Golconda Fort, known for its historical and cultural significance, provides a stunning backdrop for this grand event. Exhibits will feature artillery guns, small arms, and cutting-edge operational tools, with detailed display boards highlighting their specifications and operational importance.

Additionally, there will be displays of communication systems, engineering tools, and Nuclear Biological and Chemical (NBC) warfare suits.

The event will also showcase live performances by military bands and exhibitions of gallantry medals, heroic stories, and other historical artifacts.
