New Delhi, Oct 27 (NationPress) A significant and spiritually enriching milestone has been recorded in India’s cultural tapestry as, for the very first time, an individual who has held the esteemed office of the President, Ram Nath Kovind, along with his wife and daughter, took part in the collective recitation of the revered Namokar Mantra in a devotional video film.

This remarkable occasion was revealed at the grand event 'Mere Mahavir 2.0 – Mera Namokar', which was organized to celebrate the 2552nd Nirvana Mahotsav of Lord Mahavir at the Plenary Hall, Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

The film, entitled Mera Namokar, has been produced by the Bhagwan Mahavir Deshna Foundation.

The Foundation's Directors -- Subhash Oswal Jain, Anil Kumar Jain, Rajeev Jain, and Manoj Kumar Jain -- conveyed that after being informed about the project, Ram Nath Kovind expressed a strong personal interest in participating along with his family.

In a groundbreaking moment for the nation, a former President of India and his family have united in a devotional video, lending their voices to the sacred Namokar Mantra.

The film creatively illustrates the sound, significance, and spiritual essence of the mantra in a modern yet devotional style, merging tradition with contemporary expression.

As the film premiered at Bharat Mandapam, the audience responded with sincere applause and emotion, creating an atmosphere filled with reverence and devotion.

CA Rajeev Jain, the visionary behind the film, remarked that the goal was to share the essence, heritage, and universal appeal of the Namokar Mantra with a worldwide audience through an engaging visual and spiritual narrative.

During the event, former President Ram Nath Kovind shared, "Words cannot fully capture the joy my family and I experienced while participating in this video. Chanting the Namokar Mantra together infused us with a renewed sense of energy and tranquility."

Following the launch, renowned devotional artist Vicky D. Parekh from Mumbai mesmerized the audience with soulful Jain bhajans, enveloping the venue in a serene and devotional atmosphere.

In his closing remarks, Manoj Kumar Jain, Director of the Foundation, stated, "The three principles of Lord Mahavir -- Ahimsa (non-violence), Aparigraha (non-possessiveness), and Atma Shuddhi (self-purification) -- represent the true mantras of life. By embracing these, we can foster peace and harmony in society."
