Chandigarh, Sep 1 (NationPress) As a response to the alarming forecast of heavy rainfall, Haryana's Chief Secretary, Anurag Rastogi, has instructed all field officers to stay at their respective headquarters and exercise rigorous vigilance until September 5.
A communication sent to all Divisional Commissioners, Range Inspector Generals of Police (IGPs), Deputy Commissioners, Superintendents of Police, and Sub-Divisional Magistrates emphasized that the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of substantial rainfall across the state in the upcoming days, raising concerns about potential local flooding.
“Consequently, during this timeframe, no officer shall be permitted to take leave without the express consent of the Chief Secretary or the Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department,” stated an official announcement quoting the Chief Secretary.
