Jaipur, July 17 (NationPress) Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, addressing a large gathering in Dadiya near Jaipur on Thursday, underscored the accomplishments of the Bhajan Lal Sharma-led Rajasthan government and the Centre’s resolute approach towards national security, tackling paper leaks, and implementing cooperative reforms.

Reflecting on previous challenges, Shah remarked, “Rajasthan has faced significant issues due to paper leaks. The establishment of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the Bhajan Lal administration has sent a clear signal to the involved mafia.”

On matters of national security, he stated, “During the Congress era, terrorist activities were rampant. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took decisive action. Through Operation Sindoor, we penetrated Pakistani territory and obliterated terrorist strongholds. Previously, appropriate responses followed the Uri and Pulwama attacks.”

Addressing local priorities, Shah mentioned efforts aimed at preserving Rajasthan’s legendary camels. “Research has initiated on the conservation of camel breeds and the exploration of the medicinal benefits of camel milk through cooperative projects,” he noted.

Due to inclement weather, Shah, who arrived at Jaipur Airport around 12:15 pm, had to travel to Dadiya by road instead of utilizing a scheduled helicopter.

Upon reaching the event, he launched 100 new police vehicles, explored an exhibition of cooperative products, and handed out appointment letters to youths chosen for government roles.

In his speech, Shah elaborated on advancements in the cooperative sector. “We are actively working towards establishing 200,000 new Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS). To date, 40,000 PACS have been set up and digitized. Warehouses are under construction, and new committees have been instituted for various cooperative tasks, including seed promotion,” he explained.

Shah asserted the significant impact of cooperatives on India’s growth over the past century, predicting their importance for the next hundred years.

“The Modi government has established a dedicated Ministry of Cooperation to extend this initiative to every farmer and impoverished citizen,” he added.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announced that recruitment notices for 28,000 positions will be released soon.

“So far, 75,000 youths have secured jobs, and recruitment for 200,000 posts is in progress,” he stated.

He also emphasized initiatives like interest-free loans up to Rs 1 lakh under the Gopalak Yojana and the opening of 24 new grain warehouses.

The event commenced with spirited chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” led by Amit Shah himself.
