New Delhi, June 23 (NationPress) The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, is set to land in Kashi on Monday to preside over the 25th session of the Central Zonal Council. This important gathering will include the Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.
Chief Ministers Yogi Adityanath, Pushkar Singh Dhami, Mohan Yadav, and Vishnu Deo Sai will collectively greet the Union Home Minister at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport on Monday evening.
This visit signifies the commencement of the Central Zonal Council (CZC) meeting, which will take place on Tuesday, June 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at a local hotel.
The inter-state council meeting aims to enhance collaboration among the central and state governments, specifically focusing on law and order, infrastructure, and regional development issues. This is the first time Kashi is hosting such a significant event.
Upon their arrival, the Home Minister and the Chief Ministers will travel by road to pay their respects at the revered Baba Kaal Bhairav Temple, regarded as the guardian deity of Kashi. They will also visit the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
Following the temple visits, the dignitaries will proceed to Hotel Taj, where Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will host a dinner in honor of Amit Shah and the visiting leaders.
In anticipation of this visit, security measures have been significantly heightened across the city. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), Saravanan T, confirmed that detailed arrangements are underway, focusing on routes to the temples and the venue.
