Hyderabad, July 19 (NationPress) On Saturday, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, along with Union Minister of Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy, officially inaugurated a new express train service connecting Hyderabad to Jodhpur.

The Central ministers launched the Kacheguda-Bhagat Ki Kothi express train at Kacheguda Railway Station.

During the event, Ashwini Vaishnaw emphasized that the introduction of a daily train from Hyderabad to Jodhpur has been a long-standing aspiration of the Rajasthani community residing in Hyderabad.

He explained that previous limitations had delayed the train's launch. However, he noted that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the country's rail infrastructure has seen significant advancements, including new tracks and the construction of new railway stations, which have enhanced capacity and enabled this direct daily service.

Kishan Reddy remarked that, guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, the long-desired dream of the Rajasthani community for a daily train between Hyderabad and Jodhpur has finally been realized.

He highlighted that infrastructure development in Telangana has experienced remarkable growth under the Prime Minister's visionary leadership.

The Central Minister noted that 40 railway stations in Telangana are undergoing redevelopment as part of the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, with Begumpet, Warangal, and Karimnagar Amrit stations being inaugurated recently by the Prime Minister.

Additionally, he stated that 100% of Telangana's rail network is now electrified.

Kishan Reddy also mentioned the newly developed Charlapalli station, which boasts modern facilities and was inaugurated recently. The redevelopment of Secunderabad is underway with an investment of Rs 720 crores, and the project is expected to be completed next year.

This new daily train service will serve both reserved and unreserved travelers, greatly benefiting residents of Central and North Western states living in Hyderabad and its surroundings, allowing them to travel back to their hometowns.
