New Delhi, Sep 7 (NationPress) Actor and fitness enthusiast Milind Soman expressed his admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dedication to fitness during the launch of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha’s (BJYM) ambitious ‘Namo Yuva Run’ campaign in the national capital, celebrating PM Modi's 75th birthday.

The event took place at the BJP headquarters and was graced by the presence of Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, BJYM President and MP Tejasvi Surya, among others.

During the launch, Soman emphasized the deeper significance of fitness. “Fitness means—amidst life’s pressures—maintaining an active lifestyle. Achieving what you need to do is the true essence of fitness. Merely building muscles or achieving a six-pack isn’t the definition of fitness,” he stated.

Describing the initiative as “incredible,” Soman pointed out the uniqueness of uniting 10 lakh individuals across India for a simultaneous run. “This is truly a first-of-its-kind event, not only in India but globally. I hope we can organize more such events, as consistency is vital for change,” he remarked.

The actor, a long-time advocate for fitness, also connected the run with a larger social cause. “The nation, along with the world, is united against drugs,” Soman stressed, highlighting the importance of physical activity for leading a positive life.

BJYM chief and MP Tejasvi Surya confirmed that the ‘Namo Yuva Run’ is set for September 21 to honor PM Modi’s 75th birthday.

“Runs will be organized at 75 locations, with 10,000–15,000 youth participating at each site. This means nearly one million young individuals will run together simultaneously, marking it as the largest and most participative run in the country,” he added.

This campaign not only serves as a tribute to PM Modi but also aims to mobilize youth fitness on an unprecedented scale.
