Srinagar, Oct 5 (NationPress) The Lt Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, emphasized on Sunday that the progress of the union territory is intricately tied to its ‘Yuva Shakti’. He noted that the task of nurturing future innovators and leaders is fundamentally the responsibility of the youth.

He stated that the development trajectory of J&K is closely associated with the advancement of young individuals. “They hold a mission to transform J&K and the nation. With determination and commitment, they can achieve this vision. We will provide them with a conducive environment to evolve into the most skilled scholars, scientists, and innovators,” he remarked.

The Lt Governor referred to the human mind as life’s greatest miracle, underlining that the future development of Jammu and Kashmir is directly linked to the empowerment and creativity of its youth.

While addressing a gathering, he asserted, “Jammu and Kashmir Ka Vikas Seedha Yuva Shakti Ke Saath Juda Hai” (J&K’s development is directly connected with youth). “We need to create an environment that can transform them into innovators, problem solvers, and future leaders.”

The L-G illustrated the power of the human mind, stating, “A child who grasps fundamental arithmetic skills early on develops enhanced life skills and decision-making capabilities. These foundational skills enable young minds to think critically and make prompt, effective choices.” He cited Google’s initiative, which discovered approximately 13 crore unique books globally, emphasizing that the knowledge contained in these books can fit into a human brain. “By fully utilizing their minds, individuals can absorb the knowledge of the entire world. Harnessing this mental capacity can lead to innovation, wisdom, and progress,” he stressed.

Encouraging youth to think beyond limitations and apply their intellect for national development, the L-G maintained that equipping young minds with curiosity, knowledge, and discipline will shape the union territory’s path toward a flourishing future.

He emphasized, “Our primary goal is to empower youth to become informed, action-oriented citizens and drive the growth and development of J&K. The innovative visions of youth, along with their dreams and aspirations, will significantly influence societal transformation.”

L-G Sinha urged the youth to acknowledge societal needs and commit themselves to address these challenges.
