Raichur, July 22 (NationPress) A man, who has accused his wife of an attempted murder, has now been charged under the Child Marriage Act in Karnataka, as reported by police on Tuesday.
According to police sources, the Raichur Women's Police have initiated a case against the husband, Tataiah, after confirming that he had wedded a minor girl who is just 15.8 years old.
This case has been filed under the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act.
In addition, Tataiah's mother and his mother-in-law have also been implicated in the offence.
