KCR Attributes Telangana’s Formation to Article 3 of the Constitution by Ambedkar

Hyderabad, Dec 6 (NationPress) Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao remarked on Friday that Article 3 of the Constitution, which was introduced by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, was instrumental in the creation of the Telangana state.
While paying homage to the architect of the Constitution on his death anniversary, KCR, widely known as Rao, hailed Ambedkar as a visionary who dedicated his life to combating discrimination and worked tirelessly to foster an egalitarian society.
The former Chief Minister declared that the BRS government undertook numerous initiatives to honor the enduring legacy of Dr. Ambedkar. He asserted that during its decade-long governance, the BRS implemented various transformational schemes.
KCR reminisced about the contributions of Dr. Ambedkar, who represented the aspirations of the marginalized. He stated that post-independence, Ambedkar provided a Constitution for self-governance that served as a model for nations worldwide.
He acknowledged that Ambedkar’s foresight in crafting a Constitution that ensured equitable opportunities for the underprivileged across economic, social, political, cultural, and other domains was remarkable. He mentioned that to commemorate Ambedkar’s significant contributions, the BRS government erected his tallest statue in Hyderabad in a dignified manner.
KCR also noted that the new Secretariat complex in Telangana bears Ambedkar's name, recognizing his pivotal role in shaping the country’s governance through his Constitution. The BRS leader stated that inspired by Ambedkar, the BRS government launched the Dalit Bandhu scheme aimed at financially empowering Dalits who have faced generations of discrimination. He affirmed that the Dalit Bandhu initiative has successfully illuminated the lives of Dalits.
The most fitting tribute to Ambedkar, he concluded, is to emulate his principles and strive to create a society devoid of discrimination.
