Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy on Friday, 19 June 2026, inaugurated a newly completed 22-kilometre road in Timmapur village, Rangareddy district, Telangana, built at a cost of Rs 30 crore. The road stretches from the RCI Gate to Meer Khan Pet and is designed to improve last-mile connectivity for several villages in the peri-urban belt adjoining Hyderabad.

Context

The newly inaugurated road links the villages of Raviryala, Kongarakalan, Timmapur, Madhapur, Gummadavalli, and Akula Mailaram. According to Reddy's post, residents of these areas have long faced travel hardships, which the new road is expected to resolve. The project was described as 'state-of-the-art' (atyadhunikanga) upon completion.

Telangana State Roads, Buildings and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy KVR was present at the inauguration alongside Reddy. Member of Parliament K. Vishweshwar Reddy and MLA Malreddy Rangareddy also participated, along with other elected representatives and officials.
