Patna, June 13 (NationPress) Political strategist and founder of Jan Suraaj, Prashant Kishor, has publicly condemned Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of a systematic bias against Bihar while showing favoritism towards states like Gujarat and Maharashtra.
During a media interaction in Gaya district as part of his Bihar Badlaav Yatra on Friday, Kishor raised questions about the recent announcement from the Prime Minister in Madhubani regarding a new Shramik train originating from Saharsa.
“Why are such announcements absent for Gujarat or Maharashtra?” he queried.
“If Prime Minister Modi genuinely possesses the courage, let him declare a Shramik train running from Gujarat to Tamil Nadu. He is aware that he wouldn’t secure a single vote in Gujarat if he did that,” Kishor argued, claiming that Bihar is receiving inadequate attention in terms of development and infrastructure.
Highlighting the stark differences, Kishor stated, “Gujarat has received GIFT City, a solar park, and a bullet train, while Bihar merely gets Shramik trains. Why this blatant inequality when the PM represents both Bihar and Gujarat?”
He emphasized that Bihar doesn’t require more trains to transport its youth in search of employment. “What Bihar truly needs is quality education and job opportunities, transforming migration into a choice rather than a necessity. Our youth are crammed into coaches like livestock. This must come to an end,” he asserted.
Kishor also made a noteworthy declaration regarding Jan Suraaj’s strategy for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. He outlined the party's candidate selection criteria, assuring that only individuals with proven integrity would be nominated.
“Even if by chance an unsuitable candidate is chosen, I implore the public to refrain from voting for them,” he added, stating, “Even the UPSC selects IAS and IPS officers through a rigorous process, yet not all are honest. Jan Suraaj will aim for the highest standards, but human error is unavoidable.”
