Mahakumbh: Digital ‘Khoya-Paya Kendras’ Launched to Aid Visitors in Finding Lost Items

Mahakumbh Nagar, Jan 9 (NationPress) In alignment with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's vision for a secure and magnificent Mahakumbh 2025, the Uttar Pradesh Police have introduced 10 cutting-edge digital ‘Khoya-Paya Kendras’ throughout the Mahakumbh region to ensure the safety and convenience of millions of devotees.

These centers feature modern amenities, including waiting areas and medical rooms to provide immediate assistance to visitors. A dedicated refreshment zone has also been arranged for women and children to enhance family comfort.

Each center is outfitted with 55-inch LED screens linked to a public address system, displaying live updates about lost and found items and individuals. Additionally, they will offer vital information about ghat arrangements and routes related to the Mahakumbh.

To accommodate the significant number of pilgrims, Additional Director General (ADG) Zone Bhanu Bhaskar has highlighted that all necessary measures are in place to ensure a seamless experience for attendees. Ten computerized ‘Khoya-Paya Kendras’ have been strategically established across the Mahakumbh area, he noted.

The main model center, located at the western end of the Sangam Return Route, will be staffed by five employees on regular days and nine during peak bathing festivals to effectively manage crowd flow and operations.

The digital centers will aid in the recovery of lost children, mobile phones, purses, and various other belongings. The ten centers are carefully positioned in ten different sectors.

To further assist pilgrims, inquiry centers have been set up throughout the fairgrounds. All significant information pertaining to the Mahakumbh, Prayagraj city, and the fair area will be accessible at these centers:

Key features include:
