Bhopal, Oct 28 (NationPress) In a significant advancement for employment opportunities, the Madhya Pradesh government is unveiling a comprehensive strategy to generate 200,000 new job openings through various recruitment initiatives.
A consolidated examination, designed after the UPSC format, will take the place of several assessments for different roles. Specifically for the police sector, a specialized recruitment board is being set up to address 20,000 job vacancies, with the hiring process already in progress.
Additionally, the sanctioning of 476 new Anganwadi supervisor roles and a digital recruitment initiative for 19,504 Anganwadi workers and assistants marks a pioneering effort in the state.
To address pension inconsistencies, a committee is being formed to introduce a unified pension scheme for employees hired on or after January 1, 2005.
A newly established commission of retired senior officers will tackle issues related to salary discrepancies, grade pay inconsistencies, and designation challenges across various departments.
Yadav also declared the resolution of a long-standing nine-year dispute regarding house rent allowance and promised promotions for nearly 400,000 eligible officers and employees once legal obstacles are resolved.
The dearness allowance has been increased to 55 percent, aligning with central government standards, and arrears will be disbursed in five installments from June to October 2025.
During the Diwali gathering organized by the State Employees Union at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Park in the Secretariat, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that government achievements are unattainable without employee collaboration.
He stated, “The contribution of officers and employees is crucial for the state's development. Their satisfaction is essential for our advancement,” labeling them as the true facilitators of every public welfare initiative.
Concerning housing, 366 Smart City homes have been allocated, with over 300 more available for immediate allocation.
As the government nears its two-year mark in office, Yadav committed to ongoing employee-focused decisions.
“We are by your side at every step,” he asserted, advocating for swift grievance resolution and dedication to furthering Madhya Pradesh’s overall progress through teamwork.
The festive occasion was filled with excitement as employees embraced the extensive reforms.
