Bhopal, May 24 (NationPress) Following the Uttarakhand Madrasa Education Board's decision to incorporate Operation Sindoor into its madrasa curriculum, a parallel call has emerged in Madhya Pradesh.

Madhya Pradesh leaders, uniting across party affiliations, have hailed Operation Sindoor as a monumental achievement for the Indian Armed Forces against Pakistan.

Representatives from both the ruling BJP and the Opposition Congress have concurred that integrating Operation Sindoor into the state's educational framework is a commendable initiative that the government should seriously evaluate.

BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma remarked that the Indian Armed Forces successfully dismantled nine terrorist camps and training facilities in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir within a mere 30 minutes, an event that has brought immense pride to every Indian.

"It is crucial for future generations to learn about this. Thus, incorporating Operation Sindoor into Madhya Pradesh's school curriculum is essential," stated Sharma, who represents Bhopal's Huzur Assembly constituency.

Congress MLA Arif Masood noted that the entire nation stood united during the launch of Operation Sindoor as retaliation for the Pahalgam massacre.

He emphasized that such unity mirrors that of the freedom struggle, making it a significant historical moment.

"I would be pleased if the government includes Operation Sindoor in the educational syllabus. However, the BJP's silence regarding Colonel Sofiya Qureshi should also be acknowledged in the curriculum," added Masood, from Bhopal's Madhya Assembly constituency.

Earlier this week, Mufti Shamoon Qasmi, President of the Uttarakhand Madrasa Education Council, declared that Operation Sindoor would be part of madrasa teachings.

He explained that this initiative aims to foster a sense of patriotism among madrasa students.

Praising the courage of the armed forces, he highlighted that Uttarakhand is known as the land of heroes, and it is vital to impart the narratives of the armed forces to every student.

"We have resolved to include Operation Sindoor and other military operation stories in the syllabus up to the intermediate level, allowing students to appreciate the valor of the Indian armed forces," Qasmi said during a media briefing in Uttarakhand.

In the context of Operation Sindoor, India and Pakistan were engaged in military confrontations for over four days, during which India executed precision strikes on nine terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir on May 7.

Referring to Pakistan as a nefarious country, Qasmi asserted the necessity of teaching them a lesson for their attacks on India, including the Pahalgam incident.
