New Delhi, Nov 18 (NationPress) The Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Mansukh Mandaviya, unveiled the plans for the upcoming National Padyatra, scheduled from November 26 to December 6, in honor of the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The initiative aims to mobilize the energy of the youth towards nation-building, aligning with the vision of Viksit Bharat, he stated.

During a press briefing, Mandaviya shared updates on the ongoing district-level padyatras and highlighted the main aspects of the National Padyatra, saying, “From Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Kutch to Kohima, millions have united for national solidarity. This is a tribute to the enduring legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and a nationwide movement aimed at harnessing youth energy for the development of our nation, working towards Viksit Bharat.

The campaign kicked off with digital engagements such as a reel competition, essay contests, and the Sardar@150 Young Leaders Quiz.

On-ground activities are taking place at the district level nationwide, with specific padyatras in some states at the Assembly Constituency level. Moreover, a procession of district representatives is heading to Gujarat in preparation for the national padyatra.
