Jaipur, Nov 14 (NationPress) Rajasthan BJP leader Madan Rathore expressed deep appreciation to the citizens of Bihar for the NDA alliance's remarkable success in the Bihar Assembly elections.
He criticized the opposition by stating, “Those who are rejoicing over winning just one seat lack a true sense of national duty. If they genuinely cared about the nation, they would reflect on the dismal performance of their alliance in Bihar.”
Rathore condemned the tendency to blame EVMs and make reckless statements solely for media attention, asserting that such actions undermine the essence of democracy.
He emphasized that the people of Bihar have shown steadfast faith in the developmental initiatives of the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the last 11 years.
Rathore highlighted that improvements in electricity supply, road networks, rail infrastructure, and flyovers have transformed Bihar, and the public has recognized this growth through a decisive vote.
He remarked that the populace has effectively countered the opposition's superficial, negative, and deceitful attacks against the Prime Minister.
Pointing at the opposition alliance, Rathore stated that the public has entirely dismissed the unaligned coalition formed merely out of a thirst for power. Parties lacking ideological coherence came together for political advantage but were ultimately rejected by the electorate.
Discussing the Congress party’s plight, he noted that its struggle to secure only 1-2 seats out of 243 signifies the near-collapse of its support.
“They must reflect and enhance their operational style and policies,” he advised, adding that Lalu Yadav’s history of corruption and his alliance with Rahul Gandhi further contributed to the opposition's defeat.
Regarding the Anta Assembly by-election, Rathore accepted full accountability for the party’s loss.
“As the head of the organization, I bear the responsibility for the result,” he stated, emphasizing his respect for the public's verdict. He assured that any shortcomings would be addressed and rectified.
Rathore expressed gratitude to the public for ensuring a peaceful voting process in Anta and congratulated the winning candidate, Pramod Jain Bhaya, encouraging him to meet the expectations placed upon him.
He acknowledged that the Rajasthan government failed to effectively communicate its various development schemes to the electorate.
He mentioned that the misinformation propagated by the Congress party could not be countered promptly and that the people aimed to support a dedicated, honest, and local candidate, yet public awareness was limited.
Rathore assured that the party would undertake a thorough organizational review and implement necessary improvements. He clarified that by-elections and general elections are fundamentally different, and the Anta result does not signify any change in the state's power dynamics.
He promised that if reforms or adjustments within the organization are necessary, the party will implement them promptly.
