PM Modi and Odisha Governor Send Birthday Wishes to CM Majhi

Bhubaneswar, Jan 7 (NationPress) Several prominent BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, extended their birthday greetings to Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday.
In his birthday message, PM Modi referred to CM Majhi, who turned 53, as a dedicated and grassroots leader.
"Warm wishes to the diligent Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, on his special day. A grassroots leader, he has consistently been at the forefront of public service and initiatives aimed at uplifting the underprivileged. His efforts towards Odisha's development are commendable. I pray for his long and healthy life," PM Modi posted on his X account.
Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also joined in celebrating CM Majhi's birthday.
"Best wishes on your birthday, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. May you enjoy good health, happiness, and ongoing success in your service to the people. Here's to a year filled with progress and prosperity," remarked Governor Kambhampati.
"Heartfelt birthday wishes to Odisha Chief Minister @MohanMOdisha. May the initiatives for public welfare and development in Odisha gain further momentum under his leadership. I pray to Lord Jagannath for his long and healthy life," Union Minister Pradhan expressed.
The four-time MLA Mohan Charan Majhi, representing the Keonjhar Assembly constituency, ascended to the position of Chief Minister of Odisha, concluding the 24-year reign of the Biju Janata Dal in June of last year.
A significant tribal leader within the state BJP, Majhi previously held the role of deputy chief whip of the party in the Odisha Assembly from 2005 to 2009.
The BJP achieved a historic milestone by forming the government independently in Odisha for the first time in 2024.
The party secured 78 seats in the 147-member Assembly, while the opposition BJD obtained 51 seats.
