New Delhi, May 12 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address the nation at 8 p.m. on Monday, according to a reliable source, with indications that his speech will center around ‘Operation Sindoor’.
Earlier today, PM Modi convened a crucial meeting with senior government officials, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and NSA Ajit Doval.
India has reiterated that 'Operation Sindoor' serves as a focused response to terrorism and its supporting infrastructure, expressing disappointment that Pakistan has opted to ally with terrorists instead of remaining neutral, necessitating a military response.
Air Marshal A.K. Bharti, Director General of Air Operations, emphasized during a joint DGMO press briefing, "Our efforts target terrorism and its support systems, not the Pakistan military. Yet, it’s unfortunate that the Pakistani military chose to intervene on behalf of terrorists, forcing us to act."
