Mumbai, June 9 (NationPress) Ashish Kumar Chauhan, the Managing Director and CEO of the National Stock Exchange (NSE), stated on Monday that there has been a remarkable change in the country's infrastructure over the past 11 years, driven by the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized that the esteem of Indians abroad has significantly increased due to comprehensive domestic advancements.

In an interview with IANS, the NSE chief remarked, "During PM Modi's administration, the nation's infrastructure—including ports, roads, and airports—has entered a new era, which has been pivotal in fostering overall growth in the country."

"When we travel internationally, we receive greater respect now," he noted.

Characterizing PM Modi's term as historic, Chauhan expressed that the last 11 years have been a crucial chapter in the narrative of independent India.

"A century from now, people will reflect on PM Modi's era as the most significant, and I am confident that the Prime Minister will continue to serve the nation effectively for the next 10-20 years," the NSE CEO shared with IANS.

Regarding the NSE IPO, Chauhan indicated that the exchange has requested a ‘No Objection Certificate’ (NOC) from the capital markets regulatory body.

Once the NOC is secured, "we will initiate our draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) and then submit it back to SEBI. Following that, they will require time for approval," stated Ashish Chauhan.

Recently, the NSE Managing Director noted that India has risen to be the Information Technology (IT) capital of the globe. Furthermore, the NSE has been at the forefront of leveraging extensive digital public infrastructure, enabling millions to trade via its advanced digital platform.

Chauhan highlighted that the NSE was a trailblazer in technology during the IT boom of 1994. Subsequently, in the year 2000, the NSE showcased India's technological prowess, attracting significant contracts and transforming into a center for small companies to exhibit their skills.
