New Delhi, July 13 (NationPress) President Droupadi Murmu is set to embark on a two-day visit to the cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack in Odisha starting Monday. During her visit, she will participate in convocation ceremonies at various educational institutions and present awards to students who have completed their studies at these establishments, according to an official announcement made on Sunday.

On Monday, the President will preside over the fifth convocation ceremony of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), located in Bhubaneswar.

The following day, President Murmu will be present at the 13th annual convocation of Ravenshaw University and will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of three buildings of Ravenshaw Girls' High School in Cuttack.

In addition, she will honor the birth anniversary of Adikabi Sarala Das and bestow the Kalinga Ratna Award-2024 in Cuttack.

Last month, President Murmu was deeply touched when students from the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities in Dehradun sang a special song to celebrate her 67th birthday.

During her birthday activities, she also visited Uttarakhand, where she inaugurated the Presidential Niketan and engaged in various cultural and educational events.
