Jaipur, March 13 (NationPress) The Rajasthan Minister for Education, Culture, and Panchayati Raj, Madan Dilawar, announced on Thursday that the Bhajanlal government aims to position the state as a frontrunner in Sanskrit education by establishing Veda Vidyalayas and Vedic Gurukuls.
As part of this initiative, Veda Vidyalayas will be set up in all divisional headquarters, alongside Vedic Gurukuls and Vedic Tourism Centers in Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Udaipur.
Speaking at the convocation ceremony of Kundakund Kahaan Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya on Keshoraipatan Road, Minister Dilawar underscored the importance of Sanskrit, referring to it as 'Devvani' (divine language).
He pointed out that Sanskrit holds a vast treasure of ancient wisdom that needs to be rediscovered and shared with the world.
Minister Dilawar asserted that Sanskrit is the most scientific language, a claim supported by renowned global research institutions.
He further cited findings from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, which indicate that Sanskrit is ideally suited for applications in space science.
"The significance of Sanskrit has been recognized not just in India; esteemed research institutions worldwide also acknowledge this, and NASA has demonstrated that Sanskrit is the optimal language for use in space science," he stated.
The Education Minister emphasized the vast potential of knowledge embedded in Sanskrit that needs to be unveiled and presented globally.
"The future belongs to India and Sanskrit. Hence, we must focus on the study and promotion of this ancient language," he remarked.
The minister also encouraged the college management to submit the required documents for elevating faculty members to Acharya and Shiksha Shastri levels, assuring prompt government action.
