Chandigarh, Nov 19 (NationPress) On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana, resulting in a direct transfer of Rs 316.38 crore to the accounts of 15.82 lakh farmers in Haryana.

A state-level event took place in Palwal district, with Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini as the chief guest. Concurrent events unfolded in all districts, attended by cabinet ministers, state ministers, and members of parliament. The Prime Minister's speech was streamed live during the occasion.

Expressing appreciation to the Prime Minister on behalf of Haryana's farmers, the Chief Minister noted that Rs 14.86 crore had been credited to the bank accounts of 74,299 farmers in Palwal district.
