Bengaluru, March 22 (NationPress) The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) clarified on Saturday that there are no differences of opinion with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) concerning the election of the party President.

The RSS stated that the decision lies solely with the party itself.

In addition, it was mentioned that the election for the BJP President is set to occur soon, dispelling any rumors surrounding the situation.

During a press briefing at the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha in Bengaluru, RSS Joint General Secretary Arun Kumar addressed inquiries regarding the impending election for the BJP President.

He stated, "Members of the Sangh operate within 32 affiliated organizations, each of which functions independently with its decision-making processes. They maintain their own membership structures and established protocols."

Arun Kumar further clarified, "There will not be a coordination committee meeting regarding the election of the BJP President. There exists no difference between the BJP and RSS. We collaborate for the betterment of society and the nation. Even now, we continue to work with the same trust and understanding. The party is following its procedures, memberships have been finalized, and committees have been established at various levels. The election for the BJP President will occur in the near future."

"The process will unfold within the party's framework. Please be patient for a few days, and everything will be clarified," he asserted.

The current BJP President, J.P. Nadda, who also holds the position of Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, as well as Chemicals and Fertilisers, is continuing to serve in the role on an extension.

There are speculations suggesting that the BJP and RSS have been unable to agree on a suitable candidate, causing uncertainty about potential friction between the two organizations.

On the topic of national unity, RSS leader Arun Kumar remarked, "Our national identity is unique, and it should be preserved. While there are numerous languages in this nation, the underlying sentiments remain the same. The essence of all languages is unified. Great personalities have never restricted themselves to their home states; they embody a sense of belonging to the entire nation."

"We have various religions, diverse foods, and distinct cultures, yet the fundamental values remain unchanged. Our culture is singular. We believe in 'One people, One nation.' Historically, despite the presence of different states, people have always moved freely and settled as they pleased. This is our uniqueness. There should be no discord over language or culture," he added.

He also emphasized, "We must rectify the shortcomings bequeathed by British rule. Ultimately, as the Preamble of the Constitution states, 'We, the people of Bharat.' The term 'We' is the defining factor. Differences in religion, language, and other aspects cease there."

"Our identity is singular. The Sangh believes that 'we, the people of Bharat' must progress to address societal challenges. We have embraced this notion, and while no system is flawless, we have devised a structure with states and a nation. The central idea should always be to prioritize the country," he noted.

"Our objective is to foster a society that promotes patriotism, unity, selflessness, discipline, and a 'nation first' ethos. If society is robust and organized, it will effectively tackle challenges. The caliber of its citizens determines the nation's destiny. A nation does not attain greatness due to a few exceptional individuals; rather, it is the collective strength of its citizens that elevates a nation. This is our mission. The society we aspire to create is reflected in how we shape the Sangh," added RSS leader Arun Kumar.

"The individuals we aim to cultivate in society are the same we nurture within the Sangh. We do not view ourselves as separate entities. The spirit of patriotism is surging across the country, as is the readiness to collaborate. We believe the nation is witnessing a qualitative transformation, although more progress is still necessary," he observed.

"As this sentiment flourishes, change will inevitably follow. This process will gain momentum during the centenary celebrations," he stated.

“The strength of society is essential. When we assert that the RSS is expanding nationwide, it does not merely refer to numerical growth; it signifies the awakening of societal strength,” he added.

“The fortification of the Sangh equates to reinforcing society. If society's strength heightens, it will be better prepared to tackle challenges, inquiries, and internal dilemmas,” noted RSS leader Arun Kumar.

“The uniqueness of our organization lies in our unwavering commitment to expansion and consolidation. The ultimate aim of the RSS is societal transformation. The Sangh is not merely an organization; it is a vast people's movement for social change. We constantly initiate efforts, and those initiatives are systematically assessed,” he concluded.
