Bengaluru, March 6 (NationPress) Bengaluru South MP and BJP National Yuva Morcha President Tejasvi Surya has entered into matrimony with artist Sivasri Skandaprasad at a private resort located on Kanakapura Road on the outskirts of Bengaluru on Thursday.
Sivasri, a talented Carnatic singer and Bharatanatyam dancer, hails from Tamil Nadu.
The wedding ceremony was kept private, with only close friends and well-wishers from various sectors in attendance.
Among the notable guests were Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Railways V. Somanna, BJP Tamil Nadu President K. Annamalai, former BJP MP Pratap Simha, In-charge of BJP's National Information and Technology Department Amit Malviya, and BJP Karnataka President B. Y. Vijayendra.
Sources from the family indicated that the pre-wedding rituals took place on the evening of Wednesday.
The mangalyadharna ceremony occurred between 9:15 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. during the Tula Lagna. Post-wedding, there will be a welcome ceremony for the new bride at Tejasvi Surya's residence.
Family sources have also confirmed that a reception is scheduled for March 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Gayathri Vihar in Palace Grounds, Bengaluru.
The Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy CM D. K. Shivakumar, and other prominent national political figures have been invited.
Sharing wedding photographs, Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra expressed, "I had the honor of attending the wedding of BJP Yuva Morcha National President and Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya, along with our MLAs and leaders, and extend our best wishes."

Sivasri holds a degree in bio-engineering from SASTRA University and a Master’s in Bharatanatyam from the University of Madras. She is also passionate about painting and modeling.
She has showcased Indian culture on global platforms and is the daughter of renowned Mridangam maestro Seerkazhi J. Skandaprasad.
Her talent gained recognition when Prime Minister Narendra Modi acknowledged her performance of a devotional piece dedicated to Lord Ram.
