Bhopal, Aug 7 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, announced on Thursday that the state government has devised a comprehensive strategy for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations on August 15.
According to the Chief Minister, this year’s Independence Day will be marked by a distinctive approach throughout the state.
During this celebration, the accomplishments of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) governments at both the national and state levels will be showcased.
"This year, we have crafted a unique plan for the Independence Day festivities. Our goal is to ensure that the government's message reaches every citizen in the state. Ministers will hoist the national flag (Tiranga) in their respective districts," CM Yadav stated in a video message from his office.
He also mentioned that his Independence Day address will be streamed live, with district in-charge ministers delivering speeches that highlight the developmental initiatives in their areas.
"Following my message, the chief guests (district in-charge ministers) at the district events will provide updates on local development projects, flagship government schemes, and progress in sectors like agriculture, irrigation, and investments," the government had announced on Wednesday.
On the same day, Chief Minister Yadav convened a meeting with senior Cabinet Ministers to assess the state government's preparations for the forthcoming Independence Day celebrations.
Emphasizing the significance of the event, the Chief Minister stated that Independence Day is not merely a festival, but a representation of national identity, self-respect, and pride.
He underscored the importance of remembering the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and inspiring citizens, particularly the youth, to emulate their ideals.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Yadav instructed that the state and district-level programs be organized with dignity, joy, and community involvement.
He advocated for the inclusion of cultural programs that foster a sense of patriotism, especially among the youth.
