Bengaluru, Feb 14 (NationPress) Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar stated that if women assume leadership roles in major nations, it could lead to the end of conflicts, wars, and societal distortions. He emphasized, "we cannot allow a single tear to fall from a woman's eyes."
During the opening ceremony of the Art of Living’s 10th International Women’s Conference in Bengaluru, he remarked that progress flourishes in a positive environment, and a woman’s presence alone can cultivate happiness and positivity.
“Her emotions are a gift because with this emotional strength, she unites people,” he stated.
“If women take on leadership roles in the world’s major countries, the conflicts, disputes, wars, and various societal distortions we observe today could significantly decrease or perhaps even disappear,” he added.
Ravi Shankar further noted: "India has paved the way for women’s empowerment and it is quite progressive. In our mythology, key ministries are assigned to women: the Defence Ministry - Durga, Finance Ministry - Lakshmi, and Education Ministry - Saraswati."
Focusing on the essence of the conference, Bhanumathi Narasimhan, Chairperson of the International Women’s Conference and sister of the spiritual leader, stated: "Just Be inspires us to pause, connect with our inner source, and find a balance between dynamism and relaxation. Meditation enables us to remain present, enhancing clarity and creativity. This conference serves as a platform for learning, sharing, and growing together, embracing kindness, resilience, and inner peace.”
