New Delhi, April 19 (NationPress) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to visit Gorakhpur on Saturday for the inauguration and foundation stone laying of development initiatives totaling over ₹1,500 crore.
A total of 147 projects will either be inaugurated or launched by the Chief Minister. This encompasses 52 completed projects valued at ₹438.38 crore, alongside 95 new projects estimated to cost ₹1,061 crore.
Among the key projects are the highly awaited four-lane road establishing a connection between Gorakhpur and Deoria and a new 50-bed hospital in Bansgaon, aimed at improving both connectivity and healthcare facilities in the area.
CM Yogi is scheduled to arrive at the venue at 4 p.m.. After reviewing various stalls set up for the event, he will take the stage.
Following a welcome address from Pipraich MLA Mahendra Pal Singh and MP Ravi Kishan, the Chief Minister will distribute kits to beneficiaries from the stage.
He will then view a video presentation concerning the inauguration and foundation stone laying of various projects. After these activities, he will address the public assembly.
This visit occurs shortly after CM Yogi laid the foundation stone for the 'Powergrid Vishram Sadan' at AIIMS Gorakhpur, a pivotal advancement towards enhancing health facilities in eastern Uttar Pradesh.
The 500-bed resting facility, aimed at providing affordable accommodation for patients and their caregivers, is being constructed at a cost of ₹44 crore with backing from the Power Grid Corporation of India through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
“AIIMS Gorakhpur is steadily advancing and is becoming a vital center for healthcare in this region. It is located in the heart of eastern Uttar Pradesh, and with initiatives like the Vishram Sadan, we are aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of linking robust healthcare services to the foundation of a developed, modern India,” CM Yogi stated during the previous ceremony.
The Chief Minister's visit on Saturday emphasizes the infrastructural and social growth of eastern Uttar Pradesh, with an aim to enhance infrastructure, improve connectivity, and broaden public health services across the state.
