New Delhi, Dec 9 (NationPress) Gautam Adani, the Chairman and Founder of the Adani Group, officially launched vocational training programs for differently abled individuals along with a cloud kitchen in Dhanbad, Jharkhand on Tuesday.
During his visit to the state for the centenary celebrations of the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad, Adani made a stop at Pehla Kadam, a school dedicated to differently abled children, which operates under the Narayani Charitable Trust.
At Pehla Kadam, the Adani Group Chairman inaugurated vocational training focused on food and beverage services for those with disabilities.
Anita Angarwal, the Director of Pehla Kadam, expressed her admiration for Gautam Adani, noting his willingness to engage with the children and support their needs. She mentioned that Adani has committed to donating Rs 1 crore annually for three years to Pehla Kadam.
“I am truly speechless regarding his dedication,” Aggarwal conveyed to IANS. “He took the time to interact with every child. His affection for them was evident, and witnessing such a notable entrepreneur devote time to these children was incredibly moving,” she declared, considering it a major accomplishment for her.
Earlier, while addressing students at IIT Dhanbad, Gautam Adani encouraged the youth to become the new freedom fighters of Bharat, contributing towards achieving economic and resource independence.
“You, my young friends, represent the next generation of Bharat’s liberators. In this fight, you are not merely extracting resources; you are reclaiming sovereignty. You are not only mining minerals but also restoring dignity,” stated the Adani Group Chairman.
Furthermore, he urged students to dream boldly, act decisively, embrace innovation, and assist in constructing a confident, self-sufficient India by becoming the guardians of core capabilities that enhance India’s sovereignty.
