New Delhi, July 21 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday characterized the upcoming Monsoon Session of Parliament as a ‘celebration session’ and highlighted the historic hoisting of the national flag at the International Space Station (ISS) as a moment of profound pride and joy for the entire nation.
While addressing the media before the commencement of the Monsoon Session, PM Modi stated, “The Indian flag being raised at the ISS for the first time is a proud moment for every citizen. The successful space journey has invigorated the nation with renewed enthusiasm.”
He praised Indian astronaut Subhanshu Shukla for his recent achievements at the ISS, declaring that all members of Parliament, alongside the populace, take pride in this accomplishment, which is destined to inspire future space endeavors.
Additionally, PM Modi discussed Operation Sindoor, illustrating how Indian forces swiftly retaliated against a heinous terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, effectively demolishing several terror bases in Pakistani territory within 22 minutes.
“Under Operation Sindoor, the residences of terrorist masterminds were obliterated in just 22 minutes,” he commented.
He underscored the increasing respect for the capabilities of the Indian military post-Operation Sindoor and noted the rising global interest in the 'Made in India' defense arsenal.
“The prowess of the Indian military, rooted in Made in India defense capabilities, is capturing the attention of world powers,” he remarked.
