New Delhi, Feb 4 (NationPress) The Indian senior women’s national team triumphed over the Russian team Zvezda-2005 Perm with a score of 2-0 in a friendly encounter held at the S&B Sport Football Complex in Serik, Antalya, Turkiye on Wednesday.

In a strong start, Anju Tamang found the back of the net in the ninth minute, followed by Lynda Kom Serto who sealed the victory with a goal in the 89th minute. This match was the fifth friendly for the Blue Tigresses as they gear up for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026.
