Dubai, Feb 16 (NationPress) The International Cricket Council has declared that extra tickets will be up for grabs for India's three group matches and the inaugural semi-final of the Champions Trophy. These tickets will be released at 1:30 PM (IST) or 12 PM GST (Gulf Standard Time) this Sunday.

Fans can purchase tickets for India’s first group encounter against Bangladesh on February 20. Additionally, tickets will be available for their much-anticipated clashes against arch-rivals Pakistan on February 23 and New Zealand on March 2 during this eight-team tournament, as stated in an ICC release.

Furthermore, a limited number of tickets will also be offered for Semi-final 1, scheduled to take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on March 4.

The ICC further mentioned that tickets for the Champions Trophy Final, slated for March 9, will be available for purchase after the conclusion of the first semi-final in Dubai.

This eight-team contest, commencing on February 19 in Pakistan, will feature 15 thrilling matches over a span of 19 days. This tournament marks its first occurrence since 2017, when Pakistan claimed the title.

The opening match on February 19 will see hosts Pakistan face off against New Zealand in Karachi. The 2017 runner-up and two-time champions India will kick off their campaign in Dubai on February 20 against Bangladesh, followed by a crucial match against their arch-rival Pakistan on February 23 and concluding their group stage on March 2 against New Zealand.

The return of the ICC Champions Trophy since 2017 will witness eight teams vying for the grand prize of a staggering USD 2.24 million.
