Cluj Napoca (Romania), Nov 30 (NationPress) Emerging Indian table tennis star Divyanshi Bhowmick maintained her exceptional performance in 2025, as she became the second Indian ever to win a singles medal in the U-15 girls category at the ongoing ITTF World Youth Championships 2025 held at the BT Arena in Cluj Napoca, Romania, on Sunday.
In the semifinals, Divyanshi put up a valiant effort but lost to China’s Zhu Qihui with a score of 4-1 (12-10, 10-12, 6-11, 4-11, 8-11). Prior to this, the talented young athlete showcased her skills by achieving hard-earned victories against competitors from Europe, Korea, and Japan.
This achievement adds to what has already been a record-breaking season for the 15-year-old hailing from Kolkata, West Bengal.
