Brisbane, Dec 10 (NationPress) Georgia Voll has been included in Australia's roster for the forthcoming three-match ODI series against New Zealand. The 21-year-old has made a remarkable entrance into her international career, recording scores of 46 not out and 101 in her inaugural series against India.

Australia secured an unassailable 2-0 lead in the current ODI series against India with a 122-run victory in the second ODI on Sunday. Australia is set to compete in the third and final ODI against India on Wednesday before heading to New Zealand on Sunday. The two teams will vie for the prestigious Rose Bowl Trophy, which Australia has held since 2000.

The first ODI between Australia and New Zealand is slated for December 19 at Basin Reserve Stadium in Wellington, with the second and third matches following on December 21 and 23, respectively.

Additionally, Cricket Australia has announced that current NSW Breakers head coach Gavan Twining will take on the role of assistant coach (fielding and wicketkeeping) for the next two years in a newly established position. Twining joins fellow assistants Scott Prestwidge and Dan Marsh.
