London, Aug 4 (NationPress) Following India's remarkable six-run victory over England in the fifth Test at The Oval, former fast bowler Varun Aaron stated that the Shubman Gill-led team has dispelled all skepticism by demonstrating their remarkable potential, even during this transition period.

On the final day of the match at The Oval on Monday, England was bowled out for 367 while chasing 375, with fast bowler Mohammed Siraj achieving figures of 5-104. This victory marks India's narrowest margin of victory in their Test cricket history.

Siraj, the only fast bowler to feature in all five matches, concluded the series as the top wicket-taker with 23 wickets at an average of 32.43. Former India cricketer and batting coach Sanjay Bangar commented on Siraj’s match-winning performance, which will be remembered in the history of incredible Test victories.
