New Delhi, May 3 (NationPress) Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu expressed strong criticism regarding the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) dismal performance in the IPL 2025 season after their 38-run defeat against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad on Friday.
Having been the runners-up last year, SRH now finds itself languishing in the ninth position on the points table, with a mere three victories from ten matches. Their chances of reaching the playoffs seem virtually non-existent due to a lack of cohesion within their squad this season.

Prasidh Krishna was exceptional, claiming two crucial wickets in the middle overs when SRH was beginning to build a partnership. Their catching was top-notch. Additionally, Siraj has made a remarkable comeback. Gujarat Titans are clearly in a strong position in the tournament and in great form," he concluded.
Regarding SRH’s declining playoff prospects, Rayudu stated, "It’s going to be a tough journey for SRH. Their season has deteriorated significantly after this defeat.
